My daughter and I were looking at cardigans together and she immediately pointed out this lovely orange one. Normally we have completely different tastes, so that made me laugh. I do think a warm colour like this brightens your face, especially on a grey day.

I nearly talked myself out of wearing pink because I thought it might be a bit much at my age. How silly is that? My granddaughter told me it was exactly my colour. Sometimes you just need reminding that you're never too old to wear something lovely.

I wore this cardigan to the garden centre on Saturday and my daughter couldn't stop talking about the colours. It's exactly the sort of cheerful thing I love wearing. At my age, I want clothes that make me feel like myself, and a little colour makes all the difference.

I've never been one for dull colours, and I don't intend to start now! Those big daisies are just wonderful. There's something about a cheerful jacket that puts you in a better mood before you've even left the house. Life's too short to dress boringly.

Most mornings I'm out walking the dog before I've even had my second cup of tea. I wanted something cosy without feeling weighed down, and I absolutely love this soft green colour. It's such a lovely change from my usual black coats.

I'm forever pottering about in the garden, even when it's freezing outside. I've always loved a good checked jacket, something I can throw over my favourite jeans and not think twice about. My husband says I practically live in this sort of thing. He's probably right!

These days I'm much more interested in feeling comfortable than following every new fashion. Give me my favourite jeans, a simple jumper and a pretty floral jacket and I'm happy. I love pink, always have, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've always had a weakness for anything with flowers on it. My friends tease me about it all the time! I love how a colourful jacket can make an ordinary pair of jeans look that little bit nicer. Just my kind of everyday outfit.
